And its great that Cody is getting involved. I have also been knitting blanket squares, using up all the tiny scraps of yarn making all kinds of striped designs. I was going to send them to the KAS (Knit A Square) charity, but last time I sent them stuff it cost almost £9 in postage, so I've decided to make a blanket for home and donate money instead. I've sewn 36 8x8in squares together and will do a crocheted border. It will sit on the back of the sofa and whenever anyone compalins they are cold they can wrap up in it rather than put the heating on! LOL! I'm working on another blanket where each of the squares is in a different colour and stitch pattern. It's supposed to be for a cot blanket but I'll do double the squares and again it can either go over the sofa or on one of the beds.Helenghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04963972925920465515noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1707440133624836688.post-66449371882212114262015-09-17T19:43:43.699+01:002015-09-17T19:43:43.699+01:00But you won't have time for cake making! But you won't have time for cake making!Sue in Suffolkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13166036914348424622noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1707440133624836688.post-6117346440843874222015-09-17T18:20:07.409+01:002015-09-17T18:20:07.409+01:00Oh I might knit a few of these.
