John Wayne is a great name!Bridgethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12545418260169484456noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1707440133624836688.post-51262296545579348552014-03-10T10:34:58.361+00:002014-03-10T10:34:58.361+00:00Mine would be jumping on Clare Balding and barking...Mine would be jumping on Clare Balding and barking at everything !Bridgethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12545418260169484456noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1707440133624836688.post-14656927933145571732014-03-10T08:55:32.101+00:002014-03-10T08:55:32.101+00:00Many years ago I had a standard, he was apricot, n...Many years ago I had a standard, he was apricot, not a manly colour so we named him John Wayne. I do not care for the exaggerated show cut but boy does he have Personality. He trotted round quite confident that he was not only the most handsome male in the building but that it was a foregone conclusion that he would be crowned. Much as Colin was a super little dog he just did not have the presence, I really liked the American Cocker but not the thought of all that grooming. It was so funny when they interviewed his owners and he just fell asleep on the couch, as if to say 'I've done my bit, paraded in front of the world with a silly haircut and now I'm done'. It's so great when a dog has a lot of character. We've had a couple that will never been forgotten because of their antics!Bridgethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12545418260169484456noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1707440133624836688.post-58436622334798280922014-03-09T21:26:13.413+00:002014-03-09T21:26:13.413+00:00my friend Brian had a standard called Indigo.
