Ice cream

Last night Callum made raspberry ice cream.
It was his first attempt.

He bought himself an ice cream maker from Lidls with his saved up money.

I've had a little spoonful to taste it before it went in the freezer and it was gorgeous!
He also made some meringues and swirled chocolate into them which I've not had a chance to take a picture of yet.
He's planning on making some banana ice cream today.
How will I ever maintain my svelte like figure with all these goodies being made in the kitchen every day?

  1. Yum yum, it looks delicious. It's lovely to see your boys so at home in the kitchen, they'll never starve. Had to laugh at Chumleigh and Tyxall in your last post looking up at the hamster cage, they must have though that Clark had brought a treat home for them. Hope Eden's Textiles exam went ok yesterday, Eleanor didn't think it was too bad. I can't believe Eden's got eleven exams left, Eleanor's just got Music, Geography, English Language and two Maths and then she's done. It's so long since she's seen her friends out of school as she's been revising hard, but she's gone off to Leeds today in the rain with one of the girls to do a bit of clothes shopping. She's looking forward to having a bit of time over the next week to do as she likes instead of constant revision, I bet Eden is too.

    1. The dogs were funny Jo, just sniffing!! Eden's got Business Studies, English Language,Religion and Philosophy, Astronomy, Chemistry, Physics, Italian and Biology left. Some of them have two exams in them. She has taken 19 exams for 11 subjects not counting the oral language ones which were done a while ago. In my day it was one exam per subject for an hour or so! I get really annoyed when the news reports that exams are getting easier. They so aren't! She's also planned a couple of meet ups with friends. I think they both deserve it!

    1. I had a crash course on ice cream makers last night Sue!
I'm not a great fan of exams, I think they're just a memory and how you react under pressure test!
Having Half Term in the middle if exams is both a blessing and a curse! One the one hand it's more time to revise but on the other it doesn't half drag them out!

  3. I think you could have a couple of chef's in the making and no I don't know how you keep your figure with all this glorious food around. I would be looking like a weeble by now.

    1. Callum has expressed an interest in being some sort of chef.
I am a weeble in real life, it's only in cyber world that I have a figure like Jessica Rabbit!
