So while we were away in our caravan last weekend as it was raining and we had four boys to occupy we went to a garden center. They were in their element!
There were so many lovely decorations to look at
Set out in all different colour schemes
I simply had to take a picture of the boys with these huge furry reindeer.
In other news, we had a lovely albeit wet weekend away in our caravan.
I've started crocheting square number four for my Mums throw and I came back to a newly painted hallway and landing with all the doors and doorframes glossed by Eden. I think we could be going away more often!
I could do with a handy daughter like yours - well done Eden, sorry your weekend break was wet.
ReplyDeleteThe rain didn't spoil the weekend, it's just horrible in a caravan with wet boys and dogs!
DeleteGoodness what a lovely surprise. Not sure I'd trust any of mine wielding a paint brush unless on paper instead of walls. And three of them are adults now. Shame the weather wasn't so kind but at least you all had a great time in the garden centre. Number 3 loves going to our local ones to see all the decorations. I hadn't realised they were out already.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mitzi x I didn't realise they would be out either. I do love Christmas but I do think it's still a bit early!
DeleteEden does like decorating and has done her bedroom a couple of times. I did tell her that if she did it just to have one friend over to help, I didn't want five or six of them let loose!
How lovely. I have to say that I'm not in to DIY at all, I leave all the decorating to Mick, though Eleanor enjoys wielding a paint brush too. Sorry to hear that the weather wasn't great for your weekend away but at least you found something to occupy the boys.
ReplyDeleteMalc hates DIY, it's usually me that does the decorating so I'm very happy to hand the brush over!
DeleteWhat a lovely surprise - such a kind girl. Emma likes to paint too.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about the weather but what a great way to spend the day.
oh fun! i always love looking at christmas decorations... even in october...
