Cast off and newly cast on

The throw for my Mum as I was crocheting it together and sewing in the ends.

Forgive the wall behind it, it's been stripped ready for Eden to paint whilst we're away
A picture of it in situ on my Mums sofa with Cody and Topsy, one of Mums dogs.

Clark's cardigan, this was a couple of nights ago, the back and one sleeve has been knitted so far.

I don't think I'll be doing much of it tonight as I have a stiff neck probably through sleeping with my head at a bad angle or something along those lines.
So I'm off to have a hot bath, rub some gel on it and hopefully it will be gone by the morning!

    1. It's 99 inches wide by 66 inches long. It took about 15 to 20 hours to crochet as I've only had time in the evenings lately.

    1. I'm awful Karen, I have to finish one project before I can start on another. I don't know why but I just can't have two or three things on the go!

  3. I'm liking this throw. Is it large granny squares all joined together? That would be a lot easier than lots of little squares which is currently what I am doing.

I bet your mum loved it.

    1. Cheers Mitzi. My Mum was chuffed with it. It is big granny squares joined together. If I did smaller ones I would be going mad trying to crochet them all together! I don't mind crocheting the squares but I hate sewing so I usually crochet together but even that isn't on my list of favourite things to do!

    1. Thanks Jo. My neck is a little better. The throw certainly felt warm when I was crocheting it together and it was laying all over my lap.
