    1. At 14 years old I think he''s entitled to get a bit grumpy!

  2. me too, they are a much maligned breed. When I worked in the vets, I found the bull breeds friendly, cuddly and well behaved, real people dogs, with huge kisses to give. The rescue I volunteered for, had more staffies than they could rehome, but when I did the adoption follow up visits, their new owners reported how well they had settled and how everyone who met them, loved their staffie. Homes were carefully screened and we never had any returned, for any reason.

    1. The number of bull breeds in rescues is awfully high. I think as soon as they get bad press people just give them to rescues because they think their pet is suddenly going to attack them! Good to hear you didn't have any returned x

  3. I've enjoyed watching Crufts. Archie sits and watches it with me too, he loves seeing dogs on the tv. Archie's sister was at Crufts, she was kept to show and she came 2nd in the Good Citizen bitch class. His mum was shown at Crufts too.

    1. Wow Jo I'm impressed. I use to work as a kennel maid for a breeder of Mastiffs and she used to go every year but unfortunately never got anywhere! I thought the Scottish dancing was amazing
