New Years Day Family Dinner

Today my parents came round for a lovely three course lunch. Prawn cocktail, roast lamb, profritrole gateaux followed by coffee. Subsequently I'm far too stuffed to write anything!
Hope your New Year was lovely.  Ours was great, the thunder was louder than the fireworks! More tomorrow.

    Thunder? where did that come from?

      Profiteroles are one of my Mums favorites as well as lamb. She's got to be spoilt now and then! We had about six really loud rumbles of thunder, one clap was so loud that I jumped out my chair, much to my children's amusement!

    Happy New Year. We had profiteroles on Christmas day yum!
    Wind and rain here in Yorkshire but no thunder...yet!

      Profiteroles are a favorite in this house. We were surprised at the thunder and lightning as it wasn't forecast.

      This was at 11-30 last night. I also love to watch lightning but that thunderclap came out of nowhere!
